Could we get a look at http://www.simpleassessment.com/ or some other measure of NETS for possible pre- and post-assessment?

Add rubrics or cecklists for all assignments and discussions

In weeks where there are discussions or assignments to grade, make quizzes self-graded. Short answers frequently require hand grading. (virus -viruses, single-user license - single user license, etc.)

Things I'd like to try:

  • Web tool of the week (or every two weeks)
    • ExtraCredit but only when assignments in on time
  • Work in pairs to explore one new tool…select from wide variety or 101 webtools (Simple K-12) - Instructor published class document at the end on Isuu or DocStoc (See Mike Fisher's example http://bit.ly/c1JxXiand email)
  • Intro: Wordle and/or Voki
  • Podcast- audio file with overview of lesson and/or assignmet
  • Feedback via audio/video
  • Ask each student to give a gift to the class at the end song, poem, quotation, link, webpage, slideshow…(wallwisher might work for this)
  • Making a Pageflakes or Netvibes or Googlepage with RSS feed from class blog, plus whatever to make it personal/professional
  • MORE integration of textbook
  • Twitter or Edmodo or other microblogging platform
  • More collaborative activities and tools
  • Discussion/assignment on digital citizenship and/or digital footprint
